Ten times a year, Carnegie Science bring extraordinary opportunities to connect with some of the most-gifted investigators in science and hear the stories behind their discoveries. These hour-long lectures (followed by a brief Q&A period) go beyond media accounts for a firsthand look at the “aha” moments, the setbacks, and the triumphs that drive brilliant minds and fundamentally change our understanding of the world around us.

Manage all event logistics as it relates to the lecture.
Although I have been involved in Capital Science Evening planning since the beginning of the Spring 2016 season (starting in January 2016, totaling 6 lectures), I took over all event logistics as it relates to the public lecture starting in the Fall 2016. A colleague of mine manages the VIP/advancement activities associated with the evening. Capital Science Evenings I have been responsible for have been:
Dr. Sean Carroll - The Serengeti Rules: The Quest to Discover How Nature Works & Why It Matters
Dr. Nadrian C. Seeman - DNA: Not Merely the Secret of Life
Dr. Greg Asner - Exploring and Managing Earth from the Sky
Dr. Elizabeth Loftus - The Fiction of Memory
